IPad Use
Students enrolled in Blackrock ETSS provide their own iPad for use during the school day. The school's Virtual Learning Environment is hosted by TEAMS, and students use the devices for:
- organisation of notes and files
- collaboration between students and teachers
- CBA/AAC submissions
- more interactive activities during lessons
A management software is installed on the device to configure them for use during the school day, and to ensure that unwanted software may not be downloaded on the device.
Purchase of an iPad for use in School
Students seeking to purchase an iPad device for use in the school should follow the instructions below. Where a student has a previously used iPad which they would like to use with the school, they should contact the school for its configuration for use within the school.
