School Bus Service

2025/26 updated school bus timetables

• Four buses will operate along four separate routes.

• In order for this four-route system to work, students will have to stick to their nominated route - Route 1, Route 2, Route 3, or Route 4 below.

• As with all school buses in Ireland, there is no teacher or supervisor on board. Students are expected to behave the same way that they would on public transport i.e. safely and responsibly. Getting the school bus is like using Dublin Bus or the DART – all passengers are expected to behave calmly and respectfully.

• Passengers who fail to comply with the rules of Tony Doyle Coaches will be asked to step off the bus for a period of time or, in some cases, indefinitely. The school supports all of the safety measures that the bus company has in place and will support any recommendations that the bus company makes concerning unsafe behaviour. Bus route times are approximate. Please be at your bus stop 5 mins before your departure time.

Going home times - the buses will leave the school at 15.45 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The buses will leave the school at 14.00 on Wednesdays. Some exceptions apply as per the school calendar e.g. on the Wednesdays that staff meetings take place, the buses will leave at 13.05.

Tony Doyle Coaches rules for students travelling on their buses

1. Remain seated with seat belts fastened​

2. Behave safely, respectfully, and calmly ​

3. Do not eat on the bus​

4. Only water is permitted on the bus; no other drinks are permitted​

5. Do not litter the bus; bring your own litter with you​

6. Respect other students’ space on the bus and don’t interfere with their possessions​

7. Unsafe/negative behaviour may result in removal from the bus
