Ukulele Club

Ukulele Club is a fun and interactive Lunch Time club where students get the chance to learn Ukulele whilst exploring their own musical voice. The club is for any student in the school who plays or wants to play an instrument. It is designed to enhance students’ musicality whether they have previously learned an instrument or not. The club is open to all members from experienced players to complete beginners. The members collaborate with their teacher to learn how to play and to sing songs that they enjoy.

When? Every Friday Lunch time: 13.00 – 13.30

Where? The Music Room (FF11)

Who? Tara

Why? It’s a fun, friendly club, and a great way to learn an easy, inexpensive and travel-friendly instrument. It develops students' self-esteem, confidence, and musical theory as they learn to perform occasionally in front of the school audience. More importantly, it’s 30 minutes of the school week where students can relax, have fun, and develop a sense of achievement by mastering a new skill.

Congratulations to 2nd year student, Alex, on another incredible athletics feat. Alex won the silver medal in yesterday's All-Ireland with a jump of 10.04m. We are so proud of Alex's accomplishments this athletic year!
