Blackrock ETSS places great store in its student-centred approach to education. To this end, there may be times during the year outside of the parent-student-teacher meeting which require a meeting between the teacher and the parent to negotiate any arising issues. To that end, Blackrock ETSS has devised a Teacher Consultation Timetable for use by staff and parents to ensure that all parties can communicate effectively.
Steps:
- The family wishing to speak to a teacher contact the main school office using the school app to set up a meeting.
- The teacher will receive the message from the school office, and communicate their availability according to the Teacher Consultation Time timetable. They will confirm the format of this meeting (e.g. in person, or through Zoom etc.)
- The family will confirm the time of the meeting.
- The meeting will take place.
