Ethical Education / Community Awareness
Ethical Education in TY focuses on exploring world views; issues of power and participation in our world, and the part we play in it. This year, students also engaged in a module of study on the power of social media and tech companies in how information is disseminated and communicated to us as citizens. In Transition Year, this class is also used to encourage students to connect with our local community. Students plan, organise and lead a fundraising evening in the school community and are also involved in other nationwide initiatives for community and nationwide social initiatives.
