2024/25 updated school bus timetables

• Three buses will operate along three separate routes starting Monday 26^th August. You will find these routes below.

• Tony Doyle Coaches have designed these routes based on feedback parents provided in the survey sent at the end of the last academic year. The information supplied by parents in these surveys was used to ensure that there is sufficient capacity for each student travelling to the school.

• In order for this three-route system to work, students will have to stick to Route 1, Route 2, or Route 3 below, i.e they will have to use the preferred stop that parents opted for in the survey. (Families seeking to change routes must make contact with the school before a change will be permitted).

• As with all school buses in Ireland, there is no teacher or supervisor on board. Students are expected to behave the same way that they would on public transport i.e. safely and responsibly. Getting the school bus is like getting the 46A or the DART – all passengers are expected to behave calmly and respectfully.

• Passengers who fail to comply with the rules of Tony Doyle Coaches will be asked to step off the bus for a period of time or, in some cases, indefinitely. The school supports all of the safety measures that the bus company has in place and will support any recommendations that the bus company makes concerning unsafe behaviour. Bus route times are approx. Please be at your bus stop 5 mins before your departure time.

School Bus Rules

1. Remain seated with seat belts fastened​

2. Behave safely, respectfully, and calmly ​

3. Do not eat on the bus​

4. Only water is permitted on the bus; no other drinks are permitted​

5. Do not litter the bus; bring your own litter with you​

6. Respect other students’ space on the bus and don’t interfere with their possessions​

7. Unsafe/negative behaviour may result in removal from the bus
